How to use this with your scaling tool

  1. Point your scaler at http://<host>:9090 — it's a real Prometheus endpoint.
  2. Query with /api/v1/query?query=... or /api/v1/query_range?query=...&start=...&end=...&step=15.
  3. Scrape /metrics for the classic text exposition.
  4. Add/edit metrics on the left, or hit the +/– buttons to nudge a value in real time and watch your scaling rule react.
